Data Clients read data from Field Devices. Once read you may used any or all of the following features.

Reported Current values and status are displayed
Trended A set of recent readings are displayed on a rendered chart. The number of sample and other parameters are configurable.
Logged Data is time stamped and appended to log files on a FIFO basis
Archived Real time data is appended to archive files which are zipped to save space. Many configurable parameters.
Served to the Web Using JSON, HTTP , data push services are provided. Data can be pushed from site to www.
Served to the Enterprise Using XML and other enterprise protocols.
Provide Visualization Complex web based GUI is provided. Objects can be animated with live data.

Hard/Soft Solutions

You can purchase the loggers / data clients as devices or you can purchase them as software. As software they may be run on any compatible version of windows. This means you can select your own computers of any format to run them on or you can run them on a server.

CAS2500-01-UL-ModbusRTU Data Client

Connects to Modbus RTU devices to read data. The data and transactions are logged. The log files are available and can be transferred to other computers. Current data can be monitored by remote systems running applications that can issue HTTP or SOAP/XMP GET requests such applications can be easily developed by end users. Of course, this data is available using an Internet Browser such as Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. Connection parameters, device parameters and data parameters are configurable.

CAS2500-02-UL-ModbusTCP Data Client

Software Data Logger Products

Provide identical functionality to the device based loggers but these are software only and they may be run on any suitable windows computer. A popular format is the mini-itx format of PC. There are many ruggardized min-itx computers suitable for installation in a commercial or industrial environment.
