Accessing a Gateway through the Web Interface. -

Make sure the computer's IP address is in the same subnet mask as the Gateways. To do this, Navigate to the computers Settings, Network & Internet, Change adapter options and then proceed as in the images below.


1. Open the Browser.


2. Type in IP address of Gateway. By default: 192.168.2.101.


3. Continue with HTTP. Note that this can be changed later.

4. Enter the Username, by default, "admin". All in lower case and with no quotes.


5. Enter the password. Can be found on the back of the gateway.


6. Choose HTTP and save, this can be changed later to increase security.


Notes About Passwords:

  • Lower case L’s appear as a line “l”
  • Upper case I’s appear as the roman numeral “I”
  • The number one appears “1”
  • You can scan the QR code for the password

How To Install a New Configuration File -

1. Repeat steps 1 and 2 as in the Accessing a Gateway Through the Web Interface above.

2. Navigate to Setup/File Transfer/Update Configuration. Choose the config file and then Press SUBMIT .


3. Restart the System.


How to Install New Firmware -

1. Repeat steps 1 and 2 as in the Accessing a Gateway Through the Web Interface above.

2. Navigate to Setup/File Transfer/Update firmware. Choose the firmware file and then press SUBMIT.


3. Can’t find the tab to download firmware? Try this; http://192.168.2.194/htm/fsgui.htm#20_OID Or https.

4. Reboot the system when loading simg files. else Restart.



How to find Your Gateway and IP address -

1. Download and Install the FieldServer Toolbox downloaded  HERE! .


2. Discover your Gateway and Change IP if required.


How to change the IP Address -

1. Repeat steps 1 and 2 as in the Accessing a Gateway Through the Web Interface above.

2. Navigate to Setup/Network Settings.



Reporting a Problem / Getting an Answer

Help us help you by providing the data we need to resolve your issue. This process gives us the files we need - all the data from the Data Arrays as well as capturing message.

Start the log – wait for 1 minute – now repeat the action that caused the problem – if it’s not too hard, do it more than once – wait for the log to end. Send or share the log file. We will need a description of the problem.
