Intro to Veeder-Root
Gilbarco Veeder-Root is one of the most experienced providers of fuel tank monitoring systems in the world. It supplies automatic tank gauging and fuel management systems, including the Red Jacket brand of submersible pumps and pressurized line leak detectors. All their products use the protocol language Veeder-Root TLS to communicate. To integrate a Veeder-Root product to an existing network, a protocol converter (a gateway) must be implemented. Often, Veeder-Root products are integrated into BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks Network.
The Veeder-Root TLS protocol can be used to connect to suitably enabled Veeder-Root Devices. This is a serial protocol using an RS232 port. Since the protocol is nodeless, only one Veeder Device can be connected to port one at integration.
The Chipkin Veeder-Root Gateway, CAS 2700-02B, is the perfect solution to integrate any Veeder Root Panel. It can poll Veeder-Root TLS Panels for status, real-time, and configuration data. The Gateway can be used to read Tank Inventory, System Status, Tank Alarms, Sensor Alarms and more. The Veeder Gateway serves data from a TLS panel as Modbus, BACnet or Web data. It also requires minimal configuration and can be considered a plug and play component of a system.
FieldServer QuickServer Veeder-Root Gateway (QS)
The Veeder-Root QuickServer (QS) is a high-performance, fully configurable, and cost-effective protocol gateway to integrate any Veeder-Root panel. The Gateway comes enhanced (500 points) and can connect to serial (RS485 and RS232) and Ethernet ports. The Veeder Root driver was developed by Chipkin for FST. We provide 2nd tier support to FST and know this protocol to source code level – get expert support and configuration from day 1.

Dual-Ethernet Port QuickServer
The Dual Ethernet Port QuickServer is the premium secure QuickServer for those needing the best and most secure networks. Besides being capable of handling everything that the classic QuickServer and the QuickServer can handle, it also contains 2 Ethernet ports, can convert up to 10,000 points and has a lot of new security features. It supports 1 RS-485/RS232 Port, 1 RS485 Port, and two Ethernet ports.
With two Ethernet ports, the dual-port QuickServer allows data to move seamlessly across disparate subnets allowing seamless integration with maximum security.
