Case Study - QuickServer integration of a Bakery Danfoss AK-255 Refrigeration to BMS over BACnet

A commercial bakery needed to integrate Danfoss AK-255 refrigeration units, which exposed data via an XML web interface, with an existing Building Management System that only supported BACnet IP. Chipkin Automation Systems solved this by developing a custom XPath-based QuickServer driver that reads the Danfoss XML data over HTTP and exposes it as standard BACnet IP objects. This enabled centralized monitoring, automation, and energy management through the BMS without changes to the existing infrastructure, while also creating a reusable integration solution for Danfoss XML devices across BACnet, Modbus, and other industrial protocols.
